Locking him is up is our little dirty sexy secret and we have so much fun with it. Some couples have a song, we have a key and I feel like it helps to define our relationship. Our two year anniversary is Thursday and I want to wear his key on a necklace when we go out to dinner and dancing. How recognizable is the little silver key that all of the cages use? I don't know if I want it to be recognized or not but I would like to know what I am getting into.
We live in a small town and we are taking a long (much deserved) weekend in a nearby city so I am not worried about seeing anyone I know. This is more about someone recognizing the purpose of the key.

short answer: anyone already into this community (keyholding, not just EYM) would know what it meant. anyone not would think it was odd jewelry.
I had never seen that type of key until looking into this community, and now that I google I see it's called a "furniture key", so they did already exist and some people might recognize it as a desk-drawer key, for instance.
...but I think anyone that's seen a community like this, and a typical device, would know right away that a person wearing a key like that as jewelry has this specific meaning.

I wonder if someone would say something or just make eye contact with me and then make out the outline of the cage bulge in his pants. You're absolutely right and I completely agree. I can only imagine what things women that wear must hear from those that have marinated in the porn fueled version of how chastity is portrayed. For many of them, a woman who has her man in chastity is mostly wrongly assumed to be seeking different men for sex.
