I'm a big fan classic rock music, having grown up in the 70's/80'. A very popular song then was "Hold on Loosely" by .38 Special. I ran across a lyrics video of that song today. Upon seeing these particular words on the screen, my mind (for some reason) went to my friends here and other places that enjoy the kind of ethical non-monogamy talked about here often. Here are those words:
"Just Hold on Loosely and don't let go
if you cling too tightly, you're gonna lose control
Your baby needs someone to believe in
and a whole lot of space to breath in."

Seems like pretty good advice even if it is from back in the day.

I think I was too busy getting drunk at the time to pay attention to the lyrics. Now having the chance to see them again, I see your point. Maybe they weren't speaking specifically to poly or non-monogamous relationships, but the words ring true none the less.

@tincup Oh yeah, I doubt very seriously those lyrics directly applied to hotwifing/cuckolding, but I agree ... they ring true nonetheless.

I hear a lot of song lyrics that sound like they could be related to these kink/lifestyles (probably just because that's where my brain usually is). I remember seeing threads on Reddit and various community sites years ago about this... any good ones that stand out?
