But that’s not what we are talking about today. We are talking about the Key Pod which is a small Bluetooth. The Key Pod is a remote key holder’s dream come true. This little Bluetooth device holds the key safe and sound for a predetermined amount of time or to be opened via mobile app. Kev and I have tested one for the last two weeks and can attest that it works as advertised.
The device itself is slightly smaller than expected, they say that it can fit two keys but I wouldn’t suggest more than a single key. It keeps a log of all opens and closes and allows a timer to be set for up to 99 days. The battery itself lasts up to 180 days and unlock up to 500 times.
The device is charged in just under an hour and uses a standard USB-C cable and it comes with the charging cable.
The QIUI app works well and I didn’t have a problem with it once the Key Pod was paired.
